By accessing or using Moru's website and services, you agree to these Terms of Use.

By using Moru, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Moru. If you are between 16 and the age of majority in your country, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Beta Status & Changes

Moru is offered as a beta product. Features, exercises, scoring, and pricing may change, be added, or be removed at any time while we iterate — see our Beta Terms for details.

The service may be interrupted, contain bugs, or behave unexpectedly. We do our best to keep it reliable, but during beta we do not guarantee uptime or continuity.

4. Use of Services

Moru provides eye-tracking and vision-training tools for wellness purposes.

You must use our services in compliance with all applicable laws.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

6. Camera & Eye-Tracking Features

Moru uses your device camera to estimate where you are looking. This processing happens locally on your device — we never see, store, or transmit your raw video. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Accuracy depends on lighting, camera quality, and your device — treat all scores and measurements as estimates, not precise clinical readings.

7. Medical Disclaimer

Moru is a wellness product, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

If you have eye pain, vision changes, or any health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

8. Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features may be offered under a paid plan ("Moru Pro"). Pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation terms are presented at the time of purchase. Contact [email protected] for billing questions.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service — for example by attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineering it beyond what the law allows, or using it to harm others.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software are owned by Moru or its licensors.

11. Termination

You may stop using Moru and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" during this beta period, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Moru is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Germany, where our service is hosted, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the beta evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
